The extract of tiny chilli peppers could help to effectively combat weight issues in overweight and obese people. A substance found in chilli peppers is capable of increasing metabolism and combatting excess body fat better than popular pharmacy slimming tablets and diets .
A study carried out in Japan, surprisingly given the ingredient rarely features in Japanese cooking, suggests that the extract of chillis contains an active ingredient capable of effectively combatting excess weight.
The substance, believed to increase metabolism, is referred to as Dihydrocapsiate (DHC) and can be found in a particular type of chilli peppers, the CH-19 sweet. The information has been verified in a press release by the well know Japanese food group, Ajinomoto Group Tokyo.
The research carried out by the company shows that unlike other chilli pepper extracts, the substance taken from the DHC does not produce a fastidious burning sensation. DHC in fact is odourless and flavourless.
The slimming substance can only be found in certain types of pepper and not all varieties, difficulty in obtaining sufficient quantities of the slimming agent from the natural product means that researchers are trying to replicate it pharmaceutically so it can be made into a sellable pharmacy weight loss drug with the same properties.
Increasing metabolism is very important for people who are trying to lose weight; however, medications should not be used on their own and must always be combined with an appropriate diet and plenty of exercise. In fact, medicines when used as part of a correct balanced weight loss regime can help you to lose considerably more weight than just natural methods alone.
We know it works, so if you can take the heat, this new pill could be just the ticket.
